Moneyball, 2011 - ★★★★★ The story of Moneyball takes you on a journey of adventure, courage, failure, and perseverance. Brad Pitt is phenomenal in this film, and Jonah Hill is a stand up supporting actor along side him. The chemistry between the two on screen is reason enough to watch this film. I believe many people may have written this film off as another one of those “inspirational baseball movies”. Even though they would be correct in categorizing it as such, this is a must see film in my opinion.

The Help, 2011 - ★★★★★ An inspiring film touching on topics of civil rights and racism between African-Americans and the white families they work for in the 60’s. The story is well told and even with the film running at two and a half hours long, kept my attention the whole time. I would highly recommend seeing this film if you have not yet seen it.

Crazy, Stupid, Love, 2011 - ★★★★ I really enjoyed this film. I thought this was a fairly good film as far as romantic dramedy goes. The acting in this film was great. Ryan Gosling pairs really well with Steve Carell, and the performances from the rest of the cast was equally great. The story was a quite predictable until the end where there was a plot twist, which I felt took away from the story instead of adding to it. Another high note was the soundtrack. It is spectacular. I purchased it right away from iTunes. Overall I would recommend seeing this film.

“The pictures are not morphed in any way. What you see is a collage of two different people in each picture. Did it take me a long time to find the right pictures? Hell yes it did!” [via]
