Really enjoyed the Morgan Freeman impression at the end.

Can I Take Your Order?

  • Barista: Hi. Welcome to Starbucks, how are you today?
  • Customer: Good thanks.
  • Barista: What can I get for you?
  • Customer: Can I get a Tai Chi?
  • Barista: Um sure, do you mean Chai Tea?
  • Customer: (laughs in embarrassment) Oh yeah, I always screw that up.
  • Barista: Can I interest you in some Ninja or Jiu Jitsu at all?

Cool site dedicated to documenting the last days of Gourmet Magazine. Check it.

Javalujah!

Eric Testroete is an awesome 3D artist. Check out these pics. I wonder if he takes orders? Some additional pics can be found on his flickr site.

Good Strategy. Make the your office space more inviting than your own home. Check out the new Facebook Headquarters designed by Studio O+A. I would love to work in a place this beautiful.

Halloween Math.  I wish my math teacher was this cool when I was in school.

I love me some good design.  This concept clock is quite ingenius.  Simply tilt the clock to set it to the appropriate daylight savings time.  Unless you are in Saskatchewan, then this clock would be usless to you.

In the video above, Apple’s senior vice president of industrial design Jonathan Ive offers a rare glimpse into his design process. He discusses the latest line of aluminum products; the iMac, the MacBook family, the iPhone and the iPod Nano each make appearances.

Watching the clip, you’ll understand why Apple seems obsessed with looks. Ive talks about gadget design like an artist would speak about his paintings. He’s one heck of a passionate guy.
